Park Ranger Mounted Unit Volunteer - Price: n/a in Boston, Georgia

Patrol horses need exercise. Not a paid position. Under the general direction of the volunteer's Mounted Unit Lieutenant, volunteers provide at least one stable management solution for better operation and are responsible for basic horse care, basic stable maintenance, basic stable yard maintenance (clearing pens of manure, rocks and debris and fence repair), assist with preparations for patrols and/or events and assist with exercising of mounts (this is only offered to those who hold special equine skills that meet approval with the Lieutenant of the Mounted Unit) and some volunteers may help with administrative projects (marketing, fundraising, grant writing, programming,etc.)
